The Okidata C9500 printer is a laser device that prints with color and mono toner for Okidata Oki C9500 printer. It uses the LED technology and a speedy processor for fast and reliable output each time. Connectivity options available make it ideal for use within medium to large workgroups. Expandability of certain features means having scalable solution to your changing productivity demands. Also, utilities are present for managing machine use and print cost.
It has a body which measures 460 mm x 666 mm x 626 mm (H x W x D) and weighs approximately 72 kg. Within this compact enclosure is a powerhouse, a fast processor running at 600MHz. Because of this, as much as 30 color pages per minute can be yielded. That’s equivalent to 37 pages per minute for mono tasks. Warm up time takes only 160 seconds so you can get to your daily printing chores right away.
There’s a printing resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi (dots per inch) used. This ensures that you can consistently enjoy texts that are sharp and readable, and images with lifelike qualities. For the printouts to exactly reproduce the colors that you see on the PC’s display, there’s the Oki Color Matching feature. With all these printing capabilities, you can get consistent output and professional-looking documents each time.
No matter how busy the workplace environment gets, the machine can catch up with its input media handling capabilities. As much as 650 sheets can be supported, as there’s a 550-sheet internal tray and another 100-sheet multipurpose tray. However, a 3rd tray and high-capacity tray (sold separately) may be attached to the printer. All in all, you can bring the input media capacity up to 2850 sheets.
Various media sizes and types can be supported by the C9500. Compatible sizes include anywhere from A3, A4, A5, A6, banner and custom ones. Compatible types are plain paper, glossy, labels, card stocks, envelopes, transparencies and any other media suitable for laser printer use. Letting you do more are some finishing options which include a 2-tray stacker, puncher and stapler for use on the lower tray.
Upon purchase, a 320MB RAM already comes with the machine. But because of the available DIMM slots, it’s possible to increase the memory to a maximum of 1024MB. This allows you to store more printer tasks and large files. Hooking up to a computer is hassle-free as there are both parallel IEEE 1284 and USB 1.1 ports. For use within a medium to large network of computers, an Ethernet card (10/100 Base-TX) is around.
Included are some helpful utilities for optimized performance and better printing management. Automatic Color balance calibrates color use upon startup, or when a new image drum or cartridge is installed. Oki Template Manager lets you create templates of everyday office documents. Print Control and PrintSuperVision are utilities that allow you to effectively supervise network use of the machine.
The Okidata C9500 printer w/ Okidata cartridges has a maximum duty cycle of 150000 pages per month. This color and mono laser type of printer combines effective printing technologies and expansion capabilities to provide fast and reliable printouts. Multiple connectivity options allow it to be used in varying workplace environments. With a number useful tools installed, you can get dependable machine performance and management.
