Got surveillance cameras with Pc DVR but when we run software, it says ” Can Not open video capture device”?
It`s one of those kits which come with wireless camera, and reciever with built in dvr so you can monitor and record to the PC hard drive via USB cable. I installed and uninstalled countell times but when i open the monitoring software it says ” CAN NOT OPEN VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICE”. There is no video at all, just black screen. We tried camera and reciever on the TV, and it works great, just not on my PC (Vista, if that matters).
Any advice is appreciated.
Go to the web site of the manufacturer and see if they have a s/w upgrade.
